Amy Lou Adams, full name Amy Lou Adams (born 20 August 1974 in Aviano Italy), American actress. Amy Lou Adams is famous for portraying naive characters that are engaging and relatable. Adams was born in Italy and her father was as a soldier in the U.S. military and she lived in Castle Rock Colorado as one of seven children. The actress began acting and dancing professionally in the mid-1990s with Boulder Dinner Theatre, and then at the Country Dinner Playhouse. Then in Minnesota in a small local theatre she was selected to play a role in an unrealized documentary film about beauty contests called Drop Dead Gorgeous. Following her debut on screen as a charming but snarky contestant, she relocated to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. The husband of her Tony Curtis was her partner from June 1950 until September 1992. They had two kids, Kelly Curtis as well as Jamie Lee Curtis. The the actress Norma Shearer Leigh secured a deal with MGM and began her career as a film actress in the 1940s. In the decade that followed, she appeared in many popular films including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) as well as Living It Up by Martin and Lewis (a 1954 film).
